Evening Worship at 'The Church in the Borough'

Commencing 14th October 2018 at 6pm

We are delighted to announce the recommencement of evening worship sessions at The Borough.
The worship will be led by Richard and Mally Benham

Autumn Play Sessions

Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th October
In conjunction with Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council
An event run by the council providing activities for children.
Each session will last from 9.30am to 12.00pm
Please note, booking is essential.  
For children aged between 5-11 years old at 50 pence per child. All children must be registered.

Special Events at The Vine Bookshop

October and November 2018

Autumn Children's Craft Workshop
Thursday 25th October 3.30pm to 4.30pm
Make a recycled book hedgehog. The cost is £4.00 per child which includes a drink. Booking is essential as places are limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Late Night Shopping Events
Thursday 18th October and Wednesday 14th November
5.00pm to 8.00pm
A chance to browse the Christmas cards, calendars, candles, books etc which are available for purchase at the shop.

AlterNativity 2018

Saturday 10th November at 10am to 2pm

PLEASE NOTE: The 2018 event is to be held at the Mary Foryan Centre next to St Peter's Church.
The AlterNativity project is now in its thirteenth year and during this time it has raised over £120,000 for local, national and international projects. There will be a range of gifts on offer from £3 to £20 to support charities such as Worklink, Intercare, Feed the Hungry, Hinckley Foodbank, SNIPS, Hinckley Homeless, HALE, Leprosy Mission, Send a Cow, Bible Society, Christian Aid, Aim for Change, Mercy Ships and many others. If you can't get to the event you will be able to order online by accessing this link.

Hinckley Lights Switch On

Friday 16th November 6.00 to 7.30pm
The church will be open for refreshments and for children's activities. Come and watch the switch on of the lights from the front of the church and witness the firework display which follows

Church Meeting and AGM

Monday 26th November at 7.30am
The November church meeting will take place in the rear hall and will include the election of Elders

Christmas Services

Details of the Christmas Services at the Borough will be posted here shortly.

Hinckley Car Trail

Wednesday 5th December 6.00 to 7.30pm
Castle Street will be open to traffic (in the downhill direction) so that you can bring the elderly or disabled to see the Christmas Lights.
The church will be open for Tea/Coffee and Mince Pies

Shoppers Event

Saturday 22nd December
In conjunction with Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council
An event run by the council providing activities for children whilst their parents can do some more Christmas shopping or wrapping.
The church will be open for two sessions - 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 4pm.
Please note, booking is essential.   Activities include:
  Making Christmas cards
Make a cookie for Santa
Christmas decorations
Christmas stories
Christmas quiz and lots more….  
For children aged between 5-11 years old at 50 pence per child.
